While I usually carry a crisp paperback around, sometimes nothing beats an e-book. Here are 5 reasons:
#1. A library in your pocket! Fancy a romantic tale, horror story, sci-fi? Or is a biography your bag? Although a crime thriller writer, I read them all – at the touch of a button.
#2. Price. Without printing costs, e-books are much cheaper.
#3. Saving the planet. Again, as they’re not printed, no trees are cut down.
#4. You can look inside before you buy. This is simple, at least on Amazon – just click on the picture of the book cover.
#5. Supporting indie writers. Although my thrillers – After The Interview and Up In Smoke – are available in paperback as well, many independent writers start by publishing an e-book because it’s so easy to do. A good example is artist Deenagh Miller, with her chilling but compelling autobiography.
